Jurassic Park (1993) - Welcome to Jurassic Park Scene (1/10) | Movieclips

Jurassic Park movie clips: />BUY THE MOVIE: />Don't miss the HOTTEST NEW TRAILERS: /> CLIP DESCRIPTION: Hammond (Richard Attenborough) leads the visitors, including Dr. Grant (Sam Neill) and Dr. Sattler (Laura Dern), to see their first live dinosaur - the Brachiosaur. FILM DESCRIPTION: Steven Spielberg's phenomenally successful sci-fi adventure thriller is graced by state-of-the-art special effects from the team of Stan Winston, Phil Tippett and Michael Lantieri from George Lucas's Industrial Light & Magic. The film follows two dinosaur experts -- Dr. Alan Grant (Sam Neill) and Dr. Ellie Sattler Laura Dern) -- as they are invited by eccentric millionaire John Hammond (Richard Attenborough) to preview his new amusement park on an island off Costa Rica. By cloning DNA harvested from pre-historic insects, Hammond has been able to create living dinosaurs for his new Jurassic Park, an immense animal preserve housing real brachiosaurs, dilophosaurs, triceratops, velociraptors, and a Tyrannosaur Rex. Accompanied by cynical scientist Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum), who is obsessed with chaos theory, and Hammond's two grandchildren (Ariana Richards and Joseph Mazzello), they are sent on a tour through Hammond's new resort in computer controlled touring cars. But as a tropical storm hits the island, knocking out the power supply, and an unscrupulous employee (Wayne Knight) sabotages the system so that he can smuggle dinosaur embryos out of the park, the dinosaurs start to rage out of control. Grant then has to bring Hammond's grandchildren back to safety as the group is pursued by the gigantic man-eating beasts. One of the greatest scenes in film history, period.
MR. DinoDigger
Anyone here comes back after watching this same Brachiosaurus again on the dock in Fallen Kingdom?
Black Gurdians
In Jurassic Park Brachiosuarus:Hi human In Jurassic world fallen kingdom Brachiosuarus:Good bye human 😭😭
I think bread is neat. ye
Brachiosaurus R.I.P. 1993-2018 she was just a big cow, and died twice. Y'all political correctness ;P
It is a 1993 film, but its so originality for today's series...
Dominik Luki
I know there's one left behind but.....i wish the other Brachiosauruses was already on ship 😣😢😢
Antonio Reyes
This theme is still epic and iconic to this very day! :). *Grins happily* John Williams, without you, no epic as hell themes from Star Wars, etc.
Obi-Wan Kenobi
After watching this very same brachiosaurs die in Fallen Kingdom this scene is even more emotional.
Matt Allen
The acting from Sam Neil and Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum, plus the visuals, plus the music = pure epicness.
Peter Frank
The CGI has aged but the magic will remain the same.
Matt Capell
The first and last dinosaur to be seen on screen on the island.
Dumbo Octopus
The first dinosaur we see in isla nublar and the last dinosaur we see in isla nublar
Rest in Peace, Brachiosaurus Number #02.
Victor Velasquez
After Fallen Kingdom, I can never see this scene ever the same again
Darth Thot
In 1993 we got one of the most magical scenes in movie history. In 2018 we watch it burn to the ground.

“Welcome to Jurassic Park.” I love the way he says it, you can tell he has so much pride in what he has created. An iconic line from an unforgettable movie. Jurassic Park will always live on in our hearts and minds. RIP Richard Attenborough and Brachiosaurus. Now you can create Jurassic Park in heaven.

Who else came here after watching Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom from when they left the dock
And than to think people say they like Jurassic World better -_- Don't get me wrong..I really think Jurassic World was great but the first Jurassic Park is magic. This is one of the best movie scenes to be ever brought to the big screen. Everything is perfect, the dinosaurs, the park, the actors and the music. This was my number one childhood film (I'm only 23 lol) but I love it even more now. The second movie is great too. I don't know why so many don't like that one because it's still my favourite sequel, just a little bit more than Jurassic World.

0.35 My jaw dropped when I saw this for the first time. I was seven years old. The film was re-released in 3D a few years ago, and when this music started, I started crying. My God I love this movie.
Paladin Colt
This brings tears to my eyes, especially after watching the latest Jurassic movie
I have a chance to meet Jeff Golblum this summer, and if I get a picture with him, I wanna say... 1:06
1:09 Best reaction in the movie from that extra.
FDR - FierceDeityRick
"They do move in herds..." ; _ ;
2:23 Just wait for that moment when it will become a reality one day. Maybe *not* in this lifetime but surely somewhere in the future. I hope future generations will look back and see where it all began, right here in 1993. Simply amazing.
rahul saini
Music is awesome in this film ☺
Clay Pidgeon
The scene in Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom suddenly makes this one a tearjerker too...
Whether or not this was the same one from that scene in JW2, it is a bit poetic that it's was the first and last we see on the island. We first see the miracle of bringing them back to life. Then we see the tragedy of extinction.
Elora Maxwell
That swell of music at 2:17 is just... I don't even know.
Elemental Jedi
Just to think that this creature started it all. The same creature that ended up closing them in the future.
Tony Pacheco
R.I.P Brachiosaurus 😣😣😭😭
Stefan Contolencu
Rip brahiosaurus in JWFK
coming back to this scene after watching Jurassic World 2. The first Dinosaur you see on the island, and the last. :(
I saw this movie when I was 4 and have been in love with the franchise ever since.
Ethan Del Prado
This scene is depressing after watching Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom
Fulcrum 67
Isla Nublar began with a Brachiasaur then ended with one.
BlueMan HD
No matter how many times I watch this... Instant chills, every time the theme starts Every time
When he said: "welcome to jurassic park", a whole new are of film began.... It also is a marking moment for many kids born in the 80's....
the CGI still amazes me over 25 years later. honestly how did they even pull off this quality cgi in 1993!? and im aware some of it is animatronics im talking about this scene alone.
Ilker-sama Codename: Shrapnel
To think that the Brachiosaurus is simultaneously the first and last dinosaur we've on Isla Nublar...
Sonny Bill
Damn you Fallen Kingdom!! WHYYY!!???😭 why did she have to die like that!!! 😔
Juan S. Moreno
Anyone else here after... *that* scene from fallen kingdom?
Stephen Ritger
A quarter century later, the effects still hold up. The music is epic! This movie is a masterpiece!
Bay Sean
May Richard Attenborough rest in peace:,( 1930-2014
So devastating, I actually think this Brachiosaurus is the one they left in Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom. Such a sad scene.
Mike Gilmore
This brachiosaurus, the first dinosaur Alan Grant saw, died on the dock, standing on its two legs, an reminder, never forget who made this movies moment special.
Rexy The king
RIP BRACHIOSAURUS 🦕 1993-2018 I love this Dinosaur will miss you girl Rest in peace.
Chris Stagner
As many of us did, I grew up watching this movie and its 2 sequels religiously. Now 17, I watched this movie for the first time in over 5 years with my girlfriend, who had never seen it before. All through the movie I reminisced and remembered how much I loved this movie, but I wasn't ready for this scene. When the theme begins to play ( 0:32 in this clip), I was hit with a massive wave of nostalgia and I cried tears of sheer joy for about 5 minutes. In that moment I realized that Jurassic Park is and always will be my favorite movie ever. There is something about this scene in the combination of pristine music and great cinematography that hit me like a freight train, and I had never felt that way about any film in the past. Even now when I re-watch this clip, listen to the theme song (at 0:47 in the song) or even talk about this scene, I begin to tear up because of the beautiful masterpiece that this movie is. Cheers to you John Williams, Steven Spielberg and the Jurassic Crew :)
Ian Berwick
Hearing that thing roar with headphones is amazing
Lance and the Bros
Who's watching this after Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom.... SPOILERS ALERT When the Brachiosaurus stands on 2 feet before it's death
thomas mcquade
the death of this creature in Jurassic world fallen kingdom hit me right in the gut as I remember this scene feeling the same awe as Dr. grant and dr. Slatter as I saw dinosaurs come back to life only 25 years later for this creature to vanish in cloud of smoke and fire along with all of Isle Nubla the park is truly gone.
Jose Martinez
Forget the new movies. Doesn’t even come close to the original !
I had to watch this scene again after watching Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom I'm emotional.
I grew up obsessed with dinosaurs and I still am. When I first saw this movie, I was obsessed with it. Seeing a movie where dinosaurs are alive and interacting with humans blew my mind, it's one of those movies that will always stick with me and had a profound effect on me.
Phoenix Achillobator 87
R.I.P Brachiosaurus 1993-2018 You will be remembered.

After JWFK i can't see this without crying
Ajay Constantine
Watching Brachiosaurus die in Fallen Kingdom brought tears in me....It was the first dinosaur in the 1993 movie and seeing it dying was really painful and bringing the Jurassic movies to an end.
Rivaini Hawke
Hands down one of the most beautiful scenes in cinema.
Jimmy Johnson
This is my favourite moment in the movie it also reminds me about my childhood, I just love the acting of entire star cast, sam neill's reaction was absolutely perfect, it seems that it is actual dinosaur there by his acting.
Delta Empire
Rest in peace Brachiosaurus
Billy Russo
This scene is magic. Regardless of my mindset while watching this film, this scene always brings out the kid in me that would absolutely love a real Jurassic Park. Also, that John Williams score perfectly captures the wonder of this scene.
Godzilla ROX 2.0
I think that since I watched Jurassic world fallen kingdom I think this Brachiosaurus' name should be 'Hope'
Matthew Rider
@1:38 "We're going to make a fortune with this place." The moment EVERYONE knew the lawyer was not going to survive.
Howling Burd19
Kids today will never understand how incredible this was watching it for the first time back in 1993... That includes me. My parents always told me stories about how crazy this was back in the day :)
Black Phillip
You would never understand how I feel when I saw this movie in 93 for the first time. I was in shock how realistic this movie was. And still is. They nailed the lighting perfectly. This is a movie magic at is best.
How could they not hear the loud thumps earlier?
Jorge Garcia
Who is here after Fallen Kingdom?
Wis Dom
I don't think people understood just how powerful this scene was. Growing up as a kid in the 80's, dinosaurs where a huge fantastic fantasy to us, back then (that and Ninjas, lol). Spielberg captured our dreams perfectly! I was fifteen in 1993 when I saw this in the theaters and my heart skipped at this scene.

Asyraf Razif
This is site A, Isla Nublar, totally destroyed by volcano at 2018.. Shown at jurassic world, fallen kingdom.. Some of Isla Nublar's products now roaming at United States cause one of the fool greedy people.
Jayson Jones
This was the first dinosaur to be seen in the first movie and the first to go extinct in the fallen kingdom. 😞😢😭
I feel like this scene also heralds the new dawn of CGI in movies. I know CGI has been in movies way before this but this is the first time I feel audiences finally realises how powerful CGI can really be, how it can evoke emotions in ways that were thought to be impossible.
I will never forget seeing this moment for the first time in the cinema as a small child. Everyone in the media was raving about the special effects. It felt like I was Dr. Grant seeing the Brachiosaurus for the first time. There are many amazing scenes in this masterpiece, but this will always be the defining one for me.
This is one of, it not THE, greatest movie clip of all time. Everything is perfect. From the dinosaurs to the delivery to the second greatest quote of the franchise. Jurassic park is a masterpiece. Period.
The first dinosaur we see in isla nublar is the Brachiosaurus, now the last dinosaur who see in Nublar is a Brachiosaurus
the jurassic park song never fails to make me cry
Snowy Heart
I just saw the new movie jw 2 and Spoilers!!! Watch the brachiosaurus 🦕 be left behind on the island made me very sad but it was when it stood on its hind legs that made my tear up (had a wet shirt by the end of it XD) and I’m not the old for when the first jp movie came out I wasn’t even alive yet XD but I watched every single movie and loved them all but that one part with that brachi will make me cry every time I watch it ( that part also inspired me to draw a picture of the Brachiosaurus on its hind legs)
Creating photorealistic animals with CGI had never been achieved prior to 1993. I was just a teen at the time and quite stunned to see this.
The beginning of jurassic park A brachiosaurus appears magestically The end of jurassic park A brachioasaurus dies in the fiery pit of fire and lava
Rip Brachiosaurus in Jurassic world Fallen Kingdom 😭
Alejandro Ochagavía
The movie that made millions of kids obsessed with dinosaurs. Me included, of course!
Anyone else come back from Fallen Kingdom ?....
Real Boss Life
bro is this the first one of jurrasic park
Steve Dandy
Had they only created the Brachiosaurus and other plant eaters, JP would have been a HUGE SUCCESS. But no, they had to bring in the T-Rexs and Velociraptors...and, by doing so, ruined JP.
Well JA Bayona just confirmed this Brachio is the same Brachio from a certain scene in Fallen Kingdom Excuse me for a moment........
No matter how good Jurassic World is they will never better this scene. It is the rare instance of the characters on screen and the audience watching having the exact same emotional response upon seeing that dinosaur.
hulk buster
I love this version of John Hammond.
Sonny Gomes
There's only one thing to say ICONIC
Yen LopAm
This Brachiosaurs was not meant to be left behind in Fallen Kingdom. It was a dinosaur just as important as Rexy
hulk buster
This was the first time I saw a dinosaur as a kid and it stayed with me forever I love this scene and loved dinosaurs I'm playing Jurassic world evolution and I'm living my childhood again.
