The fat guy is Rampage's coach, Colin Oyama.  He tried to get Rampage to watch video of Rua and study him, but Rampage refused because he was so confident he would beat Rua.  Suffice to say, Rampage was humbled by the experience and his coach was disappointed in him.  The coach may be fat, but he's done more for MMA than any of the keyboard warriors on here.

Shogun crying at the end talking to his mom then Ninja hugs him. :'3

How come Brazilians sound so feminine when they talk

@Kris Burns: DAMN I feel bad for Rampage.. He looks broken mentally after this fight and that's a damned shame. Don't be. He bounced back just fine, granted it took him a while but that was mainly due to the KO loss he took against Wanderlei Silva, not necessarily the TKO loss to Shogun (although I do believe he checked out in that fight, you can see it on his face, he wanted nothing more to do w/ Shogun). He actually went on to say around this time he still hadn't recovered from the KO loss he received against Wanderlei Silva, took him some time to get over this 'mental barrier'. Funny quote, during an interview Frank Trigg asked him "Rampage is the reason you can't remember is b/c you were in such a zone? Is that why you can't remember" to which Rampage replied "I think the main reason I can't remember is because I got knocked out." I was actually surprised to see he and Wanderlei exchange pleasantries right after he fought Bisping. I didn't think I'd ever see the day they were on good terms, lol.. but it's cool to see.
Mettin Kaytaz
Rampage always struggled against the Chute Boxe boys
BuktoBy1
Yeah rampage coach was an asshole but he did bring out the best of rAmpage. When rampage train with him he had a lot of tools but now all rampage wants to do is just stand there And box people. He used Alot more wrestling and devasting GNP. He even used kicks and knees.
RedShogun13
Yeah a lot of new fans don't realize that back when Shogun was healthy and in his prime he was IN SHAPE. It's ironic because Shogun used to be legendary for having some of the best cardio and biggest gas tank in the sport's history. In recent years it's become the exact opposite. It's a sad irony but Shogun's best days are behind him. He had a great run but he's a classic case of heavy duty injuries/surgeries taking a permanent toll on an athlete.

Shogun and wanderlei should train together at chute boxe and get back to their old form
BuktoBy1
He needs to go back to his old school ways too
BuktoBy1

danm that shogun looks ripped ,today he need to trainning more with his cardio and body
ends it all
its sad to see rampage lose, hope he kills glover
johnnycanuck2
I believe they did. I don't blame them though. When something that gives you a significant advantage is NOT strictly enforced, why wouldn't you take full advantage? This is their career and livelihood at risk after all.
Kris Burns
DAMN I feel bad for Rampage.. He looks broken mentally after this fight and that's a damned shame.
reithe1st
shogun wasn't injured in the hendo fight. he didn't train as hard, had a bad game plan and got hurt early.
reithe1st
shogun himself said that he wasn't injured. he said that he lost desire after achieving his goal of winning the belt and didn't train hard for jones. that and the flying knee jon hit him with early in the fight messed him up.
aaaaaroma
Paulo Filho desafiou ele , e ele nao foi, depois shogun desafiou quinton jackson
xxIVANxx13
that coach is a dick! the man just got beaten and the coach is talking shit!!! lol
joeytheimmortal
I don't know man, I love Shogun but he just charges forward recklessly and leaves himself open to Henderson's right hand way to much.

I completely agree with you. It's sad to see, as a long time Shogun fan, but Rua's best days are behind him. All the injuries, especially those to his knees, have slowed him down, and he no longer seems to be in his physical prime. Maybe some miracle will happen and he'll actually be able to stay healthy for a period of time, would love to see him resemble the old Shogun once again. He still hits hard, but he doesn't have the gas to keep the pressure on anymore.

ClassicFightingGames
Shogun needs to get back in shape. He's lookin all soft now.
livebreathmma
Shogun was healthy vs Machida&showed great cardio then.Obvious why,he was healthy Also,Shogun was injured vs Hendo, limited his performance Was a grueling fight none the less.No man alive couldve went through that fight WITHOUT gassing regardless.I wont ever hold that fight against Shogun's cardio Shogun gets visibly tired-when not in shape,BUT he still keeps pushing forward&STILL is an effective fighter when tired.Has zombie cardio HOWEVER when Shogun is healthy he has AWESOME legit cardio
livebreathmma
Why would you feel bad for Rampage lol By all accounts, Rampage was a massive bully. Rampage still is a total dick! I was very glad to see Shogun beat him senseless and instill some humility into Rampage Shogun is a good dude, and of course Shogun is an extraordinary talent, so im glad Shogun WAS the dude to teach Rampage a lesson!
livebreathmma
In no way shape or form was Shogun"destroyed" Shogun had many moments in the fight and landed a ton of big shots on the Swede Gustafsson Shogun was winning the fight until he gassed late in the 2nd round When Shogun had the gas he was proving that he was a better striker and better grappler then Gustafsson Gustafsson' cardio & chin saved him big Gustafsson had to resort to point scoring takedowns to out point a gassed out Shogun 4 the win too. I still had Shogun winning the first 2 rounds
livebreathmma
Shogun suffered a broken clavicle in training camp for the Hendo fight That injury didn't allow Shogun to train properly for Hendo. That's why Shogun under performed against Hendo & was trying to get the fight to ground as quick as possible So not only did Shogun have 1 of the worst training camps of his life for Hendo due to injury But Hendo was able to train like a 21 year old due to being on TRT.Hendo was hopped up on artificial steriods. That fight was just really fucked up for Shogun
livebreathmma
Really think about that for a second Shogun was @his worst ( had a broken clavicle) and while fighting poorly too, still almost beat Hendo. It will be a complete different story if Shogun is healthy or just even if Shogun has a better gameplan & a better training camp he will still beat Hendo soundly in a rematch
livebreathmma
Why not? Just recently against Machida, when Shogun was healthy, he was in tremendous shape and showed great cardio
livebreathmma
Shogun with an injury&no coherent training camp as a result of said injury STILL managed to damn near beat the best version of Hendo weve ever seen Shogun did so while fighting Hendo's fight too Just imagine if the fight were fought on an even playing field health wise? A HEALTHY Shogun CRUSHES Hendo.Just a Shogun with a better gameplan still beats Hendo soundly
livebreathmma
*part 2 Appearance also has nothing to do with cardio. When Shogun is healthy he has shown great cardio.Cain is chubby like Shogun is too&he has great cardio Just cuz Shogun was ripped when he was younger&isnt as much now, doesnt mean all fighters in Pride were roiding LOL Your line of thinking,or lack there of begs the question,do you have some kind of mental disorder? Shogun has never failed a drug test! Bottom line, more UFC fighters get caught for roids then any fighters from Pride have
livebreathmma
Shogun never said he lost desire. For u to make shit up like that&try to spread that b.s around, fuck you sir U sure do like to make shit up.You're lying through your teeth Shogun had a broken clavicle vs Hendo. Many have said Shogun had the worst training camp of his life vs Hendo.Shogun wasn't close to 100% Wasnt close to 100% 4 the Jones fight either.Shogun was coming off surgery. To boot was bombarded with the match up on 6 weeks short notice. Was all a detriment to Shogun's ability to perform
livebreathmma
Shogun has always had a lean&athletic body type.Dude has just packed on body fat over the years. It can easily be shed or converted to muscle U MUST keep in mind, back then Shogun was young&disciplined in diet.Shogun likes to eat more now+hes older etc.IF Shogun stuck to a strict diet he could get ripped again. Just check out an interview he did b4 he crushed Forrest!Shogun was shredded BUT bottom line, muscles r just aesthetics.Shogun has big functional strength;a strong core 4 punching&kicking
livebreathmma
Shogun was not able to formulate a gameplam due to the terrible training camp he had & the injuries he suffered durring (Not just the broken clavicle which hurt his ability to perform that night, but a tear in his shin. Why Shogun couldnt batter Hendo's lead leg with kicks) Due to it all,Shogun was just looking to take the fight to the ground as quick as possible. Why Hendo was able to catch Shogun early A healthy Shogun, just even a Shogun with a training camp+good gameplan destroys Hendo
Khonnell
I think the surgeries have caught up with him. He's not able to train to his full ability, nor has he got the same spring. I love Shogun, he's my favourite fighter, but I think his time as a top 5 fighter is coming to a close.
zkyggen
What?

Someone need to put english subs on this..

Reptilian Lord
Can someone get a translation. Iam intereste din seeing what shogun is saying.
Chilling10680
Shogun was never winning that fight, GTFO Thiagay
FightScienceAa82
Shogun has had some set backs, as all fighters do. The game is evolving. If anything, he is are far better, more complete fighter now, than he was then. You want the old Shogun back, he would greatly disagree with you.
idude001
You know someone is a badass when hes eating sushi before a fight
djdoomy
i think that's one of his trainers...
usssanjacinto1

Shogun was huge jesus christ
TheSupradvr
Everyone should remember he really should have been fighting at 185
Tae gun
shogun was in such a good shape damn even has a six pack and his fights were legendary in Pride... Wanderlei and SHogun loved it when they were fighting in Pride or any Chute Box fighter was fun to watch back in the days and rivalies against BTT, American fighters and some European fighters as Fedor, Igor, Overeem pfff I miss it so much ...
Goran Arona
ninja talks like a fucking gay hahahaha
J Moo
I think if he works on his BJJ with Cesar Gracie or controlling the fight/cardio with Quest, I think he still has a shot.
J Moo
Shogun should go train with Team Quest or Cesar Gracie. Hell, even Blackhouse would be good for his career.
shimanchunutakara
colin oyama is a douche. rampage took his beating like a man and colin gives him shit. gtfo fat man.
Stevenson Ramitos
